Sometimes the everyday doesn’t feel like it leaves much space to pause. This two-hour mini-retreat is a chance to step out of the noise for a while. An opportunity to unwind the body, quiet your mind, and take a little time for yourself. Combining gentle, guided self-massage with a deeply restful sound experience, the session is designed to help you ease physical tension, return a little mental clarity and shift us out of that “always on” feeling. There’s no pressure and nothing you need to achieve, just time to relax. We begin with slow, supportive self-massage techniques using soft rollers and balls. These simple, guided movements help to loosen tight areas, particularly around the neck, shoulders, and back, while supporting better movement and posture. It’s not a workout or a class, but a practical, accessible way to help your body unwind. You’ll be guided throughout, with plenty of space to go at your own pace and take what you need from it. From there, the session gradually moves into stillness. Settling down comfortably, you’ll be immersed in a calming sound experience using crystal bowls, gongs, and soft chimes. The sound gently fills the space, creating an environment where the mind can begin to quiet, and the body can settle more deeply into rest. There’s nothing to do here; simply lie down, listen, and allow yourself to take from the experience what you need. This session is open to everyone and designed to feel approachable, whether you’re completely new to this kind of experience or already familiar with it. It’s especially helpful if you’ve been feeling mentally busy, physically tense, or simply in need of a bit of space to reset. We hope the time will allow you to leave feeling a little looser in their body, calmer in their mind, and more able to step back into daily life with a clearer head. You’ll also pick up a few simple techniques that you can return to whenever you need them. The session is guided by Lisa and Drew. Lisa brings over 20 years of experience, blending her MELT and Pilates practices into a practical, accessible approach to self-massage. Together, they create a calm, supportive space designed to help you unwind and reset. Everything will be provided, but for your comfort you may prefer to bring your own yoga or Pilates mat, along with a blanket and pillow. You might also like to bring something to place under your knees to help ease any pressure on your lower back while lying down, as well as a bottle of water.
