WOKINGHAM DRAMATHERAPIES

People often come into the therapy space with some general idea of what has 'gone
wrong' (so to speak) in their lives. Therapy serves as a really effective tool for
unfolding more of that understanding but we often run into the question of what to *do*
about it. Creative arts therapies and meditation are unique because they provide real,
tactile and actionable methods for both understanding ourselves and for *doing*
something with what we find.

Amoreena is owner and lead therapist at Wokingham Dramatherapies, with a focus in
holistic and intuitive approaches for healing through trauma, depression, pregnancy &
postpartum related issues and anxiety. She lectures in universities, runs an award

winning mental health service, has previously worked in refugee camps & gang-
impacted areas of Los Angeles and was the recipient of a fellowship grant in the

innovation sector for her work with virtual reality and empathy. Amoreena's expertise
in the latest research on visualisation-based meditation and its application with
traumatised individuals places her in a unique position to inform on holistic methods to
respond to complex circumstances.
